This app collects none of your data.
Copy All Text is a Safari extension for iOS, made by an independent developer. This page explains what the app reads and what it does not. Last updated 16 August 2026.
Information we collect
None. The app collects no personal information, no usage data, and no device identifiers. There is no account to create.
No analytics are built in — no usage tracking, no crash reporting. There are no ads. There is simply no data to hand to anyone else.
No network access
It has no networking code at all. The text it reads never leaves your device. There is no server behind this app, so there is nowhere for anything to be sent or stored.
It runs only when you tap
Nothing runs in the background. It reads the page's text only at the moment you invoke the extension in Safari. It cannot see your browsing history.
Technically, it requests exactly two permissions: activeTab and scripting.
Both apply only to the one tab you opened the extension on.
There is no persistent content script.
Copying is all it does
The text it reads is written to your device's clipboard and nothing more — it is never saved or sent. Once you close the extension, the app keeps no copy of it. What happens to the clipboard afterwards is up to iOS and to you.
Password fields are skipped
Password fields and one-time-code fields are excluded.
That covers not only type="password", but also fields whose
autocomplete is current-password, new-password, or
one-time-code — because when a site's "Show password" switches the field to plain
text, that attribute still remains.
That said, a field with no such marking cannot be told apart from ordinary text.
If a site is built its own way, with neither the field type nor autocomplete set,
and shows the characters in the clear, they may be copied as ordinary text.
Avoid copying while something confidential is visible on screen.
Data stored on your device
None. The app has no settings at all, so there are no preferences to store.
Children's privacy
This app is not directed at any particular age group, and since it collects information from no one, it collects nothing from children either.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, this page is updated and the date above is revised. There are no plans to change the app in a way that would collect more information.
